Fit2Run Sign Project | National Sign Team

See how National Sign Team brought the Fit2Run brand to life with bold channel letters, vibrant colors, and standout lighting for maximum impact.

FIT2RUN: More Than a Running Store

FIT2RUN isn’t just a retailer—it’s a movement. Founded in 2006 as a family-owned and locally operated specialty running store, FIT2RUN has quickly become a cornerstone of the running community in Florida and Puerto Rico. Known as “The Runner’s Superstore,” their mission goes beyond shoes and gear. They’re dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles, supporting local communities, and inspiring individuals to achieve their wellness goals.

From expert staff to their Fit2Time Race Management division, from community ambassadors to the Big Bill Foundation, FIT2RUN lives its values. The Big Bill Foundation, created in honor of founder Bill Robinson, awards scholarships to young adults who have battled cancer with courage and perseverance. It’s a testament to FIT2RUN’s vision: running isn’t just about personal triumphs, it’s about giving back.

At National Sign Team, we were proud to partner with this remarkable brand to design and install a storefront sign that matched their energy, their purpose, and their movement.

Branding That Fuels Growth

FIT2RUN’s growth story is remarkable. Since its first location opened, the brand has expanded both digitally and physically, now serving multiple communities across Florida and Puerto Rico. But their growth hasn’t happened simply because running is popular—it’s because FIT2RUN deeply understands branding.

A strong brand isn’t just a logo or a tagline; it’s the experience customers have when they step into a store, join a training event, or cross the finish line at a race managed by FIT2RUN. Their identity is built on community, perseverance, inclusivity, and health.

That’s why their stores stand out. From the bright colors that reflect energy and motion to the friendly atmosphere inside, every detail is designed to reinforce their brand promise: “Everyone is a runner.” Our goal at National Sign Team was to ensure their signage was just as strong as their brand identity.

If you’ve read our articles on custom sign installation or sign design and integration, you know that great signage is an extension of a brand. FIT2RUN needed something bold, vibrant, and unmistakable.

Bringing the FIT2RUN Brand to Life in Signage

When it came to their new storefront signage, the challenge was clear: create something visible, vibrant, and brand-aligned.

We designed and installed bold channel letters for maximum impact. Channel letters are one of the most effective options for retail signage, especially in shopping complexes, because they deliver both daytime visibility and nighttime illumination.

FIT2RUN’s signature colors—neon green and bold magenta—were brought to life through high-quality materials and precision fabrication. During the day, the letters are crisp and eye-catching. At night, the integrated LED lighting transforms the storefront into a beacon for runners, walkers, and anyone passing by.

By combining energy-efficient LED lighting with high-contrast colors, the sign stands out clearly even in a busy shopping center. The result? A storefront that instantly communicates: “This is a destination for runners.”

At National Sign Team, we know the right combination of design, color, and lighting can turn a sign into a statement. The new FIT2RUN sign is a perfect example of how signage can extend the customer experience beyond the doors of a store.

A Partnership for Multi-Site Expansion

FIT2RUN isn’t slowing down. With multiple locations across Florida and Puerto Rico, and plans for continued expansion, their brand is on the move. That makes our partnership especially exciting.

At National Sign Team, we specialize in working with multi-site brands—from franchise signage programs to national rollouts. We understand the complexity of maintaining consistency while adapting to different architectural environments, local codes, and landlord requirements. FIT2RUN is a great example of a brand that requires both scalability and creativity in signage.

By creating a signage solution that can be replicated across future locations, we’re helping FIT2RUN maintain a unified, recognizable look while allowing each store to shine in its local community. This is where our project management expertise makes a difference: every step from site surveys to fabrication to installation is handled with care and precision.

Why This Sign Stands Out

Looking at the completed project, a few things make this sign stand out:

  • Bold Channel Letters: Dimensional design gives the sign weight and visibility.
  • Branded Colors: FIT2RUN’s neon green and magenta pop during the day and glow at night.
  • LED Illumination: Energy-efficient, vibrant, and built for long-term reliability.
  • Placement: Positioned above the entryway arch, the sign commands attention without overwhelming the building’s architecture.

The photos tell the story: during the day, the sign is crisp and clear. At night, it becomes a glowing invitation to step inside. It’s signage that truly captures the spirit of movement, energy, and perseverance that FIT2RUN embodies.
