The Multi-generational Journey of National Sign Team

In every industry, there are companies that stand out for their unique narrative and ethos. In the world of signage, National Sign Team holds such a place. A family-owned and operated business, it has woven its values of perseverance, passion, and familial bonds into a national sign company that still retains its local heart.

The Founding Fathers: Mike, Brandon, and Dan Morelli

Mike Morelli, with an impressive 30-year tenure in the sign industry, founded National Sign Team just over three years ago. His experience provided a solid base for the company. A year into this new venture his son, Brandon Morelli joined the team, strengthening the family's presence in the business. Shortly after, Dan Morelli came aboard, reinforcing the family legacy and enhancing the company's direction.

Tracing Back the Roots: Quick Signs and Beyond

In National Sign Team's history, 1991 stands out as a seminal year. This was when Mike Morelli, started his mastery of what would eventually become the National Sign Team by establishing Quick Signs. The boys had no choice but to run around Mike's sign shop. They were exposed to the creative and technical processes involved, building a profound affinity for the craft.

Quick Signs was a testament to the artisanal beauty of hand-painted signs. This was a time when the artistry of hand painting reigned supreme, and each creation was a labor of love. This form of sign making not only offered a tangible connection to the work, but it also laid the groundwork for the children's appreciation for meticulous craftsmanship.

The Advent of Technology: Revolution in the Sign Industry

The landscape of the sign industry underwent a seismic shift in the 90s and early 2000s with the introduction of computers. This technological advancement revolutionized the way signs were created, making it possible to transition from hand painting to the use of computers, vinyl letters, and digital printing. Quick Signs was at the forefront of this evolution, swiftly adapting to the changing times.

As the industry evolved, so did Quick Signs, eventually transforming into what we now know as the National Sign Team. This evolution showcases the resilience and adaptability that has become synonymous with the company's name.

Driven by Purpose: A Family Legacy

More than just a profit-driven entity, the essence of National Sign Team lies in its commitment to family. Built for the benefit of the children, the grandchildren, and generations to come, the business is more than a source of income - it's a legacy.

Today, with nine grandkids aged between 2 and 14, the aspiration for this to become a third-generation business is stronger than ever.

As we look forward, the hope is for the third generation to step into the business, carrying forward the legacy established by Mike, Brandon, and Dan Morelli.
